Once upon a time, a hare who was very fast and proud challenged a slow and steady tortoise to a race. The hare was sure he would win, so he took a nap during the race, while the tortoise continued to move slowly and steadily.


When the hare woke up, he was surprised to see that the tortoise was almost at the finish line. The hare ran as fast as he could to try and catch up, but it was too late. The tortoise crossed the finish line first and won the race.


The hare was very embarrassed and ashamed of himself, and he apologized to the tortoise for being so proud and lazy. The tortoise forgave the hare, and they became friends.


The moral of the story is that slow and steady wins the race, and it's important to work hard and never give up, even if you feel like you're falling behind. And it's important to be humble and kind, even when you're good at something.
